I scored a great deal on Virgin America from LA to San Jose. Originally I was going to head to San Francisco, but didn’t know a HUGE event called “Breakers to the Bay” was going on this Saturday, and the whole city was sold out.
So, we modified our plans and stayed at a town called Lafayette, about 20 minutes from Berkeley and Oakland. The hotel, Lafayette Park Hotel and Spa, has a very European touch to it. Very elegant and comfortable!
