The Ducks organized a trip to Chicago and St. Louis, and 50 fans were lead by Kris Loomis.
The fans arrived separately and I traveled with Stephen, Karen, Anita, Jack and Alice on American Airlines from LA.
Our hotel in Chicago was the Hyatt Regency, and our room was on the 29th floor, facing the Chicago River. It was a rather romantic view, although a bit noisy, as we could hear the elements outside.
The Ducks had a bag of swag for us, which included a hooded sweatshirt, Ducks messenger bag, towel, lip balm, sticker, pen, and Wrigley gum.
On our first night, the Ducks bussed us to a local bar for a meet and greet, and a Q&A session with radio guy, Steve Carroll, and players Andrew Cogliano and Saku Koivu. After the event, Stephen and I walked the Magnifient Mile, went to the top of Hancock Tower to see a spectacular view of the city, and called it a night.
