Belated Merry Christmas!! We spent the Eve with Stephen’s family, and on Christmas Day, we drove down to Funner, California (near Temecula) for a free, 2-night’s stay at Harrah’s Resort, Southern California. Our room was located in the 21st floor of the North Tower. While there’s not really a view to admire, the room was comfortable, spacious and well, free!
The first night we spent with Karen, her brother and his wife, indulging in the buffet, and then gambling the night away. I was pretty lucky and walked away even. The next day we went to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, located about 30 minutes away. That was also free, aside from parking and food, as my friend Judy had tickets she couldn’t use. Overall, a great Christmas week!
