Buena Park: El Gallo De Oro

In my ever non ending quest for a Taco Tuesday place, I found this one on Yelp and made this my Taco Tuesday pick.  El Gallo De Oro means Gold Chicken.  For a buck, you can choose any meat for the street taco.

The place is located in the Buena Park Mall, in the back where the movie theaters are.  It’s small and we arrived at 5:45, just in time to beat the crowd.  The lady who helped me wasn’t the friendliest but she wasn’t rude either. Place your order, sit down and she’ll bring it to you.

There’s a salsa bar to the side (which you have to figure out its there, as its covered) and there’s a tv playing overhead.  Its a buck, and you’ll need at least 3 or 4 to fill you up.  The carnitas was much better than the asada, and I’ll just leave it at that.
