Rise of the Resistance is the newest attraction for both Disneyland and Disney World. It’s a 20 minute attraction that is a mix of character interaction and a ride.

My coworker Todd and I had Lincoln’s day off, and we met up at 7:00 am for a chance at a ROTR random boarding pass.
The way you get to ride this attraction is by using the Disneyland app to get a virtual boarding pass. The passes are issued at random, and they do sell out. At 8:00 sharp, you log into the app and hit “get a boarding pass “. Everyone from the group should have an activated ticket to get on the pass. I was lucky enough to get number 29.
At 10:38 am, we got notified to head to the attraction. At 11:00, while standing in line, the attraction broke down. We waited 45 minutes before the ride was working again.
The preshow was a greeting by Ray, who told us we were recruits, and a ship was taking us to be trained. Unfortunately, we get captured by the Empire, and placed in a holding cell.
Of course we get rescued and we have to escape in these transports run by droids.
We run to trouble, but we do escape and reunite with the resistance. Horray!
