What do you get when the lead singer looks like a dirty mechanic, sings girl cover songs, and his back up singers look like two nerds? The Dan Band!
They were playing at the Club Nokia, located in LA Live. The venue holds 2300 people and we sat upstairs in the VIP section, in row BB. If I were to pick new seats, I’d pick AA or move up a few rows.
The Dan Band started 45 minutes late, and the sound quality was poor. It was still an entertaining show, and Dan interacted with the audience for most of the show.
They did all if their popular tunes, and ended the show with three good encores. Bravo for an entertaining evening.
