My cousin was getting married in Fishkill, NY and so we decided to visit Manhattan for a few days prior to the event.
We stayed at the Fitzpatrick, a boutique hotel located off East 44th and Lexington in east Midtown. My dad found this on Priceline, and it was a decent hotel, locate 2 minutes from Grand Central Terminal, and a few blocks from the Chrysler Building.
Our first night was basically a down day. We arrived at JFK around 4:30, and by the time we collected our luggage, found our driver, we arrived at our hotel close to 6:30.
By the time we decided on dinner, it started to rain, so we decided to go to Sarge’s Deli located about 8 blocks away for soup and the famous NYC sandwiches. It wasn’t the best deli, but it did the job.
