Nothing in Vegas is really free, but you can get “close” to free… for a price. I’m not a high roller, but I do like playing the slots. Some people will say that I should just take out a $100 bill and light it on fire. I disagree. There is a method to the gambling madness, and there is a way to walk out of Vegas with some money… but that’s another topic for another time.
Some time during 2015 I discovered the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino in the heart of the Las Vegas strip. Its the new “IT” hotel. Very trendy, known to have a fantastic club scene, great restaurants, and the rooms are comfortable and contemporary in design.
The first time I stayed here was back in June 2015, and I was offered a free room. I splurged and paid $30 to upgrade the balcony room, which was an extraordinary room with a small kitchenette. The second time was in September, where we got Stephen’s mom an ADA room. Now, we are back for the third time, taking advantage of the free room, but this time just a standard room. We scored a high floor facing the Bellagio side. and the view was spectacular! Here is our standard room on the 57th floor of the West Tower.
