Philadelphia: Ducks vs Flyers at Wells Fargo Center

At 9:00 am we were leaving Pittsburgh, and less than 24 hours ago, the Ducks were playing the Penguins at Consol Energy Center.  Now, we are here to watch the Ducks play the Philadelphia Flyers at the Wells Fargo Center.

Included with our ticket was access to the Draft King Lounge, where we could get snacks and drinks.  We were escorted by the Flyers representative to an area under section 105.  The food choices were pizza (which I didn’t want) and build your own chicken cheese-steak sandwiches.  Both choices were simply awful, and to make things worse, Pepsi was their beverage provider and the free beers consisted of Bud, Bud Light or Miller.

Stephen and I walked around the arena, and was shocked at how expensive the food was.  They wanted $19.95 for a Philly Cheesesteak with fries and a drink.  We ended up getting a hot dog for $6.00.

We must have been very hungry, because those hot dogs were probably the best ones we’ve had in a long time.  Despite the awful food experience, the seats we had were great.  What was even better was our Ducks beat the Flyers 4-1.
