The Original Pancake House (OPH) opened a few years ago inside the Primm Valley Casino, taking over the old coffee shop. This location is our go-to stop when we head back to California from Vegas. We stopped here on a Tuesday around 9:00 am, and it was filling up.
Fortunately we were able to be seated immediately and went through their menu. Unlike many OPH which are open for breakfast and lunch only, this location is open for dinner, too.
So the menu here has most of the traditional OPH items plus more. In this case, this location has crepes.. specifically nutella crepes! Stephen and Karen ordered that. I ordered my favorite, the potato pancakes. Normally, I add a side of bacon, but this time left it off. They do have one of the best thick cut bacon.. well worth the $3.99.
The food came out within 15-20 minutes, and coffee cups refilled. Overall a good experience. Not the cheapest breakfast, but then it’s OPH and it’s at the Nevada/ California border. If you’re looking for cheap and fast, there’s McDonalds across the parking lot.
