This pizza place has been here as long as I could remember. There used to be another Giovanni’s off Harbor by Best Buy, but I was told they’re not the same owners. This one is located off Euclid and Williamson, tucked away in a tiny strip mall, if you can even call it that.
Their pizzas are good, but I really like their sandwiches better. I was in the mood for a meatball sandwich, and then I remembered this place. I totally forgot about them and I was glad I stopped by. The meatball sandwich was good. It was not puny like Subway, and you will need 2 hands and a fistfull of napkins to eat it. The bread was crunchy outside, and warm inside, and each meatball bite was oh so good!
It wasn’t the cheapest sandwich in town, but reasonable at $7. Plenty of place to sit, and there’s one lone tv everyone can watch. Thumbs up, and a neighborhood gem.
