Spring Clean with Give Back Box

I’m guilty of online shopping. Amazon is probably my best friend.  If your house is full of boxes, and you also have a house full of stuff, what a good excuse to re-use the boxes you got from your online shopping AND also clean the house and closet too!

Here’s the solution: Give Back Box.  They’ll pick it up for free, and you don’t have to wait for them.

Give Back Box® provides vendor services to retailers and charities, allowing each and every cardboard box a second life to help people in need. So it is also a ‘green’ solution! Reuse your online shipping boxes in which you received your purchases, or any other cardboard box you may have, to donate your unwanted household items: such as gently used clothing, shoes etc., to make a major difference in the life of another person.

Like many people, I have more unwanted stuff in my house than I know what to do with. Quite honestly, who has the time to haul this stuff to the thrift shop?  Simply use the boxes you got from your online shopping and stuff it with clothes, shoes, luggage.. whatever! Tape it up, go to the web site, print the label, schedule a pick up, and that’s it.

So what do I do again?

Go to  http://givebackbox.com/printLabel and print a free shipping label, and ship it to Goodwill for free. You can even schedule a pick up for free.  If you need a tax receipt, sign up and they’ll email you one, once your stuff reaches the warehouse. (Note: That can cake 6-8 weeks before you get the confirmation).

Partners of Give Back Box bear the cost of the shipping. Please donate generously. The better the quality of your donations, the more people you can help.

I’m not a huge fan of Goodwill,  but seriously, I have boxes loads of stuff not being used.  Why not just donate it, if someone is willing to pick it up?  I’ve shipped 2 boxes of stuff, and I’m working on a 3rd one with luggage that is literally sitting in the closet.  There you go.  A solution to a cleaner home for 2017.
