Pigeon Forge, TN: Old Mill Restaurant @theoldmilltn

After visiting moonshine places in Gatlinburg, we made our way to Pigeon Forge to visit the Old Mill District, home to the Old Mill Restaurant, the Old Forge Distillery, and other delectable places.

We didn’t get to the area until 8:00 pm and the wait was still about 45 minutes (and it was a Monday). We added our name and went downstairs to the general store to look around and took photos of the area, still within ear shot of the loudspeaker. We figured we didn’t have enough time for the distillery, as they closed at 9:00.

It didn’t seem that long before our name was called.

Whatever you chose, it included corn chowder soup and salad, corn fritter, your entrée, potatoes and green beans, and dessert. I chose the fried pork chops and he had the fried catfish. For dessert I had the cobbler and he had the pecan pie.

Each entrée was $20.99 but considering it was a complete meal, it’s a great deal.
