At the end of the 55 freeway in Costa Mesa is a tiny restaurant called Il Dolce. The place is definitely a “mom and pop” place where the bread and cheese are made in house. The pasta and pizza are made like in Europe, and the coffee and pastries are strong.
The price is a little high but quality is great. I’m happy my brother in law found this gem.
