Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve, Alaska

Following Juneau, the ship was at sea so we could view the Glacier Bay.  The Bay is considered part of our National Parks, so a permit is needed to enter this area.  Not all ships have access, which is why Princess Cruise is known for their Alaskan cruises.  A Park Ranger was on board the entire time we were on the ship, and narrated facts about the Bay.

Stephen and Sierra went to the top of the ship to view this area, while I stayed in the cabin and enjoyed the view from our balcony with Stephen’s mom.

For dinner that night, we had an exceptional meal of lobster and Baked Alaska.
We are still at sea, with the next destination: College Fjords.
