This Denny’s is a great location if you need a breakfast spot on your way to Las Vegas, and don’t want to stop at Barstow. It is located off the Main Street on the I-15 in the city of Hesperia.
The service is good, it’s actually cheaper than the Denny’s at Barstow, and there’s plenty of parking at this location. I have not been here in over a year, and I was surprised to find that this Denny’s got a facelift. The interior was nice and open, and felt very welcoming. Another bonus of stopping here is Denny’s is another restaurant supporting #NoKidHungry.
Denny’s doesn’t have the best coffee in the world, but they do try to offer a mild or bold choice. It’s not gourmet, but it does the trick when you need that caffeine boost. While the coffee isn’t the world’s greatest, they do seem to know how to make a good American breakfast. I’ve never really had a bad breakfast here, and perhaps its because they seem to make an awful lot of Grand Slams.
For breakfast, I had a very ordinary build-your-own Grand Slam: eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast. Therefore, there’s no need to show you my vanilla looking meal. Stephen had the Country Fried Steak and potatoes skillet breakfast, while his mom had the Cinnamon Pancakes that came with eggs, bacon or sausage, and hash browns.
Overall a good breakfast, and for $3 I also added a donation to #NoKidHungry, which I received vouchers good for future visits.
