Pittsburgh: Carnegie Science Center

Monday was our game day and also a day to explore on our own, so we decided to go to the Carnegie Science Center. It was also supposed to rain so that was a good way to stay indoors. From our hotel, we took the T-Transit, a free metro that took us to the Allegheny station. Walking from the train station to the science center we passed by Heinz Field, and took a group photo.

The Science Center is a 4-level interactive place, built primarily for kids.  It presents to  the children various scientific things from being an astronaut, to how trains move, to solar energy, to robotics, water conservation, to a planetarium presentation on stars and the universe.  There was even a World War II submarine docked outside the museum, but we were not able to go inside due to the inclement weather.
