Ducks season falls short to game 7… Again.

For the fourth year in a row, the Anaheim Ducks get eliminated from the playoffs thanks to another game seven. I believe this is the 4th consecutive “Game 7” the Ducks have lost in a row.

A few days later, the Ducks announced the firing of coach Bruce Boudreau, and the General Manager Bob Murray said others will be held accountable.

Yeah, right.

I think there needs to be a shake up in the Ducks organization.  One is the mentality that we need to end the season in first place.  Really, what has 1st place gotten us except we get to crow we were number one in the Pacific Division? NOTHING.

In 2003, the year we went to game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals, we barely squeeked in to the playoffs.  In 2007 we had a totally different team, with Scott Neidermayer and Chris Pronger.  We haven’t had this caliber of a team since.

Worry less about the regular season, and just make it a point to make the playoffs.. wild card is just fine.  From there, figure out why we can’t do well in post season anymore.
