We left The Hobo Inn at 8:30, thinking we’d find a breakfast place along the way. We made a few stops along the way, getting more side tracked as we spent time pulling over to the lookout points, taking pictures of the Washington trees and falls.
By the time we got around to stopping for breakfast, we ended up in Yakima in time for lunch. We got off the highway and found Waffles Caffe. The parking lot was full, which we felt was a good sign.
We were seated immediately, and our waitress was super friendly. I was debating between the pork chop or the ham and eggs, and she said the ham was much better. I took her advise, and got the ham, eggs, hashed browns and an English muffin. Stephen had his favorite: Country fried steak which came with biscuits and sausage gravy.
The breakfast was delicious! The ham and eggs was an excellent choice, and we left completely satisfied. Breakfast, with 2 coffees, came to just over $24.00. I would stop here again if we were back in Yakima.
