Spokane bound! Heading to The Spokane Club

We left Yakima, WA a little after 1:00 and slowly made our way to Spokane.  As we did from the Hobo Inn to the Waffles Caffe, we stopped to take pictures and enjoy the beauty of Washington.  We were surprised that after leaving Yakima, the scenery had an almost South West look, with more brown terrain against the bright blue skies and fluffy clouds.

As we got closer to Spokane, the clouds became darker and we were driving in the rain. When we arrived at the hotel, we had no idea where to park.  We circled the area, and called them.  They told us to park in the front, and we just valet the car, as it was the same price as self park.

The Spokane Club is a social and fitness club, as well as a hotel.  Apparently you don’t have to be a member to stay here, and guests also get to use their fantastic fitness center (which we did not use or look at). The complex is located right at the edge of the downtown area, less than 2 blocks to the downtown center.

Our room was on the 4th floor (there’s only 5 levels). It was a bit dated, as it could use a facelift. They had L’Occitane toiletry products, and plenty of towels. It was spacious and clean, and they even had a Keurig coffee maker and complimentary bottled water for us to enjoy.

Aside from the dated rooms, and the inconsistent water temperature of the shower, the hotel location and price we paid was very good.
