Temple of Hatshepsut

Queen Hatshepsut was the 5th pharaoh of the 18th Dynasty of Egypt.  The Temple of Hatshepsut (also known as Djeser-Djeseru) is a shrine dedicated to Pharaoh Hatshepsut. The temple is located on the opposite side of the Valley of the Kings.

The temple is located in the rear of a big open space, and there’s not much shade. The heat was unbearable, so I got as far as the base of the temple, before heading back to the one shady part: the gift shop to get a cold drink.
