NHL Playoffs: Ducks lose game 2, but win big in game 3 (#ANAvsEDM)

The Anaheim Ducks played game 2 on Friday at the Honda Center.  The Oilers scored first, and then again in the second period.  The bounces just didn’t go our way.  The Ducks did manage to score 1 goal in the second period, but it wasn’t enough to tie or win. Edmonton took a 2-0 lead in the best of 7 series.  For more details on game 2, click here.

Game 3 was played in Edmonton on Sunday.  The Ducks needed to win to stay alive, and they took this game to heart.  They quickly scored 2 unanswered goals but Edmonton was able to score one in the first period.  The second period was another thorn in the Ducks’ side, as the Oilers scored 2 goals, while the Ducks scored one, squeaking with just a 1 goal lead at the end of the second. Finally the Ducks blew the game apart in the third period, scoring 2 unanswered goals and ending the game with a huge Ducks victory of 6-3. For a Ducks recap, click here.
