This little Curry restaurant is located in the same shopping strip mall as Lucille’s BBQ, next door to Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ. Parking can be a bit tricky, so if you can’t find anything, park next door at Toys-R-Us.
Kristina from MadPoppin recommended this place and said it was worth the trip. We arrived at 6:30 on a Wednesday and got a table by the door. The menu was very simple, and I decided on the pork cutlet, while Karen got the Menchi hamburger curry. If you check in on Yelp, you can save a buck off appetizers.
The food came out quickly, and my pork cutlet was pounded nice and thin. The curry I asked for was mild, yet a bit sweet like Mexican mole, served on a square bed of rice. The rice almost looked like it came from the pre-made rice you get from the Asian supermarket, as it was “too” square. The cabbage salad they served went great with the food.
Overall a good dinner. We left full but not stuffed. I can see that this place can get busy, as there’s only a handful of tables. I’d come back again, if I have a hankering for curry.
