Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world and The Queen’s favorite weekend home. If the flag flying above the castle is the Royal Standard, chances are the Queen will be there too. Our tour bus dropped us off near the village of Winsdor and our group had to walk through the town center to the Castle.
Visitor’s were allowed to photograph on the grounds of the Castle, but not the inside. During our walk, we stopped for ice cream, which was made with the milk from Royal cows.
While heading to the exit, one of the Palace’s guard was standing in formation. Of course, we had to take a selfie!
The bus left Windsor and made its way back to London, and dropped us off at the Victoria Station. From there, we took a bus back to our hotel, rested, before heading out for dinner.
