It’s Sunday Funday! Today we get to tour the Buckingham Palace. The State Rooms of the Buckingham Palace is only open to the public from July to October, and I’ve been wanting to do this since 1993, when it was opened to help pay for Palace repairs caused by a fire. Various tour companies sell tickets but the best way is to go directly through the Royal Collection Trust.
The price for just the State Rooms is £23.00, but there was the “Royal Day Out” for £39.50, which included The State Rooms in Buckingham Palace, The Queen’s Gallery, and the Royal Mews. Our first leg of this Royal Day Out started at the Queen’s Gallery, where we were allowed to take photos, just no flash.
Included with our admission was a self audio guide.
The Queen’s Gallery didn’t take long, and soon we were on our way to the Mews.
