Part 2 of our Royal Day Out is the Royal Mews. The Royal Mews is responsible for all road travel arrangements for The Queen and members of the Royal Family and is home to the Royal coaches including the Gold State Coach, which has been used at every coronation since that of George IV in 1821, and The Diamond Jubilee State Coach.
After passing through security, we passed by one of the Queen’s horses before beginning our free tour. The guide showed us all of the Royal carriages and car.
The final part of the tour was the most impressive: The Gold State Coach.
Our final part of the Royal Day Out is the State Room at the Buckingham Palace.
