Buffalo: KeyBank Center vs Sabres

The Ducks lost the last 2 games played in Toronto and Montreal.  We were hoping that this last game of the road trip would turn out better.  The KeyBank Center is located down the street from our hotel, and was within the “free zone” of the local metro and took about 30-minutes to get to the arena.

From the ground level, you take an escalator or stairs to the arena level, where there’s plenty of restaurants, souvenir stands, and even the team mascot, Sabretooth taking photos with the fans… even Ducks fans.

We had excellent seats in the lower bowl, along the blue line where the Ducks shoot twice.  There’s absolutely no leg room in the row, which really sucks if you’re stuck in the middle and want to get out of the row.

The Ducks squandered a goal to the Sabres with 14.9 seconds left of the game, forcing it to go into overtime.  Fortunately, the Ducks did score and took the 2nd point of the game. final score: Buffalo 3, Ducks 4.
