Fullerton, CA: Crepes Bonaparte opens March 1st (@CrepesBonaparte) #foodtruck

Crepes Bonaparte (@crepesbonaparte) is a food truck that has been rolling throughout Los Angeles and Orange County since 2008, was on season one of the tv show, “The Great Food Truck Race” as well as on national and local tv such as KTLA.  On March 1st, they will be opening their own brick-n-mortar restaurant, located at 115 S. Harbor Blvd (off Santa Fe Avenue) in downtown Fullerton, CA. Don’t worry food truckers, they’ll still be rolling their trucks, and still continue to cater as well.

Karen and I was invited to the media sneak peek, and had a crepe on the house. I had the popular Caprese, while Karen had her favorite (and also extremely popular) HazelBerryAna crepe.  The crepes are made to order, and should be consumed as soon as possible.  On this visit, we had the rare treat of watching owner Christian Murcia make our crepes.

The restaurant will not only have their full menu, but also beer, wine, and just as important… coffee!  Well, specifically espresso, cappuccino, and Americanos… which was something they could not provide on a food truck.

It’s a tiny restaurant with counter seating inside, and a handful of tables and chairs in their patio.  There’s ample parking in the back, or plenty more in the adjacent parking structure. Stop by March 1st for a free Nutella crepe.  You’ll be happy you did.
