Ducks Road Trip to Arizona #LetsGoDucks

It’s the last game of the 2017-18 season, and the Ducks Die Hards (IG: DucksDieHards) organized a road trip to watch the team play the Coyotes at the Gila River Arena in Glendale, AZ.  The fans all met at the Honda Center on Saturday, and we received an exclusive duffel bag, water, snacks and a “Paint it Orange” t-shirt upon check in. Our one-day quick turn around trip was supposed to start at 8:15 am, but somehow there was a miscommunication with the bus company, and we didn’t leave until 9:00.

On the bus, the Die Hards coordinators kept the fans busy with snacks, raffle and a trivia game.  Stephen won a Ducks car flag in the raffle.  For the trivia, we teamed up with 2 ladies sitting across the row from us, and our team “We Getz the last Laf” won the trivia contest.

We made is safely to the hotel (located literally next door to the arena), checked in and then at 4:00 we had a light appetizer and drinks, and took a group photo before the game.

It was the Coyotes Fan Appreciation night, so hot dogs, select beer, and margaritas were on special.  Stephen and I got the $5 margaritas, and shared a green chili pork poutine.

Our seats were located in the upper level, section 226. It was higher than I expected, but at least our group was together.  The Ducks ended up shutting out the Coyotes 3-0, and after the game our group got to take a photo on the ice.
