Anaheim, CA: 4th of July at Disneyland Resort

Happy 4th of July! This year America’s birthday landed on a Wednesday, so unless I took the Monday and Tuesday prior, or the Thursday and Friday after, I only had one day off.  Stephen and I decided to spend it at Disneyland (despite the 90 degree heat!).  We started off at Disney California Adventure, and had a very “American” lunch of fried chicken and barbecue ribs.  Tip: If you have the Disney Mobile App, order your food online and skip the long line!

After lunch, we had time to kill before our Fastpass for Soarin’ over the World, so we went to the Hollywood section and found the Buzz Lightyear wings:

img_5174After Soarin’ we went to the Disneyland side to cool off with the famous Dole Whip, and caught the Enchanted Tiki Land show, Jungle Cruise, before using our Fastpass for the Indiana Jones attraction, Haunted Mansion, and then called it a day.  It wasn’t as crowded as we thought it would be… just very hot.
