Stop 2 of the ABC Islands: Bonaire
Kralendijk is the chief town, known for the beaches, and diving sports like snorkeling and skin diving. It’s the sleepiest of the ABC Islands, and the main area is tiny with a few shops and restaurants. If you’re not into water sports, you can rent a bike or moped, and visit the flamingos and “sad eyed” donkeys.
Stephen and I walked the main area, which was colorful like Willemstad. While walking the beach, it started to rain, so we decided to find a local restaurant, have some snacks and drinks, and called it a day. For us, Bonaire was quite the bummer of a port with not a lot of things to do.
