Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Disneyland opened a new land called Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.  The land is adjacent to Fantasyland, and pops out next to the Hungry Bear restaurant in Critter Country.  Reservations are required from May 30 until June 23rd, which sold out on the day they were released. The other way to get in prior to the public opening is by staying at one of the 3 Disney property hotels. I was able to get a reservation for Father’s Day at 8:00 am.

We had to get wristbands at the Launch Bay in Tomorrowland no earlier than 2 hours prior to our appointment time.  Since our appointment was at 8:00, we were able to get in to the park as early as 6:00… but we chose to meet at 6:30 am, which was more than sufficient, as we found out that we weren’t getting escorted into the Galaxy’s Edge until 7:45. Still, it was good we queued early, as we still had to get checked in for the Oga’s Cantina, which was hard to get.

As soon as we entered the land, Shellie put our name down at the Cantina, and we went to Ronto Roasters for breakfast. Stephen and I shared the 2 featured breakfast items: the Ronto Morning Wrap, and the Rising Moons Overnight Oats.  We still had some time to kill before getting called back for the Cantina, so we walked around the merchandise area.

Up next.. Oga’s Cantina!
