We were in Marina Del Rey for a wedding, and spent the night at the Marriott. I yelped a breakfast place, and the Nighthawk Breakfast Bar was a 15 minute walking distance from the hotel.
The outside was just a plain looking storefront with a neon sign that said “Nighthawk”. There was meter parking along the street. Our reservations were for 11:00 am, and we were seated promptly at our time. The clientele was a much younger crowd, 20-30 somethings, so my friends and I were definitely the grandparents of the group.
I had the Big Bird, and Stephen had the Chicken & Biscuits. Delicious and I would order it again.
My friends Sandy and Jeff had the Drunken French Toast (didn’t fill her up) and the Breakfast Burger Sandwich, while Stacey and Mark had the Pas Tor the tacos and Everything Hash.
Although pricey, it was all very tasty. Service was lacking. Our $4 cup of coffee and soft drinks were never offered a refill, and our server never checked up on us. Despite the lacking service, we still gave her a decent tip… because we figure that’s how Millennials roll now.
