Las Vegas: Virgin Hotel

Las Vegas is booming and there’s a few new hotels and resorts.

There’s going to be a new one opening in June called the World Resort. It’s close to Circus Circus and it’s located where the old Stardust used to be. It will be the first new resort to be completed on the Las Vegas Strip since the Cosmopolitan, which opened in 2010.

There’s also a new one opened up where the Hard Rock Cafe used to be. The Virgin Hotels opened up in March 2021, but it’s not completely new. They kept the hotel and redecorated the inside.

Ruby Tower

I was offered a complimentary room so of course I took advantage of the invitation. My room would have been a standard size room, but since it’s located near the construction area, I was upgraded to the Ruby Tower to a suite. Score!

The room was “sealed” to show that it was cleaned and sanitized. It was clean but as to how sanitized? I don’t know.

The room was bright and cheerful. Plenty of plugs to recharge your battery and other stuff. The sofa was comfortable and the table and chairs overlooked a parking garage.

The bedroom had a lot of little tables to use as a nightstand or to hold your gadgets. Plenty of lights and plugs, as well as a wireless charger.

There was a spacious bathroom, with a walk in rain shower and separately a deep tub.

While I didn’t get a view of anything special, it was a very comfortable room. My only complaint is that the walls are paper thin and you can hear the neighbors. I would still like to go back, as it’s quiet and away from The Strip.
