We left Bowling Green and headed towards Louisville. On the side of the road we saw a sign directing us to a Dutch Bakery.
The outside was a simple manufactured building, and the inside wasn’t that impressive at first glance. I walked around and discovered the charm of the place.
Then in the back of the room was the bakery. They had homemade whoopie pies, cakes, cookies and pies. They also had sandwiches and drinks.
We bought the original whoopie pie, molasses cookies and apple pie, and ate some in the store with a cup of coffee. It was indeed delicious and worth a visit.
