For the holidays, I wanted to do a road trip with my parents. So on Christmas Eve, we flew one way to Austin, Texas and drove to San Antonio, staying at a hotel along the Riverwalk.
The first thing we did after landing in Austin was to have lunch at Waffle House.
On our way to San Antonio, we had to stop at Buc-ees!
Finally we made it to San Antonio. It was already nightfall and cold. I chose the hotel because I knew they had a happy hour (called Kick back) which provided food such as pulled pork, baked potato, chili, nachos, hot dogs and even alcohol, which served as a light dinner.
