Road trip: Ducks shut out the Avalanche, 3-0

The game was on Saturday at the Pepsi center at 1:00 pm. From our hotel, we took the free 16th Street shuttle to the Union Station and walked two blocks to the arena. Attending the game were the Dads of the Anaheim Duck players. We spotted them inside a suite just a few sections over from us.

The game ended successfully for the Ducks, as we not only blanked them 3-0, but Corey Perry got the hat trick. After the game, the Avalanche booster club invited us to Brooklyn’s, a sports bar & grill located across from the arena.  The meet and greet worked out very well, as we were able to wait out the snow and leisurely walked back to the hotel
