Our next stop for Day 3 was Juneau, Alaska. We booked an excursion, which included a whale watching, a salmon lunch, and then a trip to the Mendenhall Glacier. We and had a really good time. The weather was perfect, the scenery was fantastic, and we did see some whales breaching.

We had a disappointing salmon bake lunch, then the tour bus took us to the Mendenhall Glacier. Since we only had about an hour to explore, I stayed behind at the Visitor’s Center with Stephen’s mom, while Stephen and Sierra went down the path to check out the glacier.
The bus dropped us at the town’s center, where we did some shopping before heading back to the ship to depart for our next destination: Skagway
