Yelp posted that Uber car service was offering ice cream service if you request them between 11:00-5:00 on July 24. If you are a Capital One card holder, you get the service for free.
Consider this an invitation to chill out. Your office probably doesn’t have a slip n’ slide, and running through the sprinklers likely won’t go over well with your boss. Don’t sweat it — you can still feel like a kid again by ordering ice cream on demand with #UberIceCream.

Our friends at Capital One are offering a free order of ice cream to eligible Capital One cardholders in the United States on Friday, July 24, 2015. Add your Capital One card as a payment method and enter promo code SWEETDEAL in the Uber app before requesting.
I have a Capital One card, and I also have an Uber account, so today after lunch I decided to request an Ice Cream delivery. There was an Uber car just a few minutes away.
Ronald drove up in a white Altima with blue “#UberIceCream” flags, indicating he was the Uber Ice Cream car. He gave me an Uber hat and pin, and asked me how many ice creams I would like. They were the dipping dots, and I could have increments of 5, so I could have 5, 10, or 15 bags. I chose 10 and shared them with my coworkers, as I am not really a fan of ice cream or dipping dots.
He reached into a large cooler in his back seat and took out an assortment of Dipping Dots, and even gave us spoons. It was a pretty nice change of event for a Friday afternoon, and my coworkers got a refreshing treat, too. Thanks, Uber!
