While gathering information for lookingforfoodtrucks, I came across this daily food truck gathering in San Francisco. It is a permanent fixture in SoMa, and looks like its a great place to check out the next time I am in the Bay Area!
Most of the food truck gatherings I’ve been to are literally a bunch of trucks, parked in a lot or a school. There are some places which provide folding tables and chairs, but for the most part, its curb side dining. This place has taken food truck dining to the next level, almost to a brick-n-mortar status or like a neighborhood gathering spot.
They have up to to 12 rotating food trucks daily and a covered heated barn. Its located at 428 11th street.
If you have been to this location, what do you think? Was parking good? (doubtful, as it is San Francisco). I hope that this is the direction of where food trucks will be headed, where small business can be enjoyed by the community.
