During our walking tour, our guide Sebastian didn’t detour our group here, but suggested we visit on our own. For one thing, parts of the bridge is covered in scaffolding and being renovated. He told us to walk to the middle for a great photo opportunity. So after the tour ended, we made our way back to walk the bridge and checked out the view.
We weren’t sure where this bridge connects to. We checked on our phones, and it looks like it connects to islands belonging to Regensburg, and to the other side of the city.
After we walked the bridge, we realized we were close to the Bratwursthausele that was 800 years old, and it was just around the corner… Time to eat!
