Who goes to IKEA just for their food (besides me)? Enter through the glass doors, go up the stairs (or take the elevator) and use the shortcut to the left to get to the Restaurant.
For the price of what you pay at a fast food joint, you can get a plate of 8 Swedish Meatballs in gravy, a scoop of mashed potatoes, lingonberry sauce, and steamed vegetables for $4.99. For a buck more, you can get 5 more meatballs. If you don’t want to get the veggies, they offer 10 meatballs for the same price.
Sign up for the IKEA Family Card and get member prices on select menu items. They make it easy to sign up, as there’s a kiosk when you first walk in. The Family Card members get free coffee and tea just for showing their card. No purchase necessary!
Kick back and enjoy your meal in their newly redecorated dining area. They’ve made it homey and cozy, so its just like if you were at home. The portions are not hungry man size, but at those prices, you can order multiple food items and not break the bank.
They also have other items besides the meatballs. They serve breakfast, starting at a buck, and they have other plated items from grilled salmon, chicken, salads and desserts! They have chicken tenders and pasta for kids at $2.49. Kids also eat free on Tuesdays with a purchase of an adult entree.
