Scotland is known for the whiskey and have working distilleries located throughout the country. You can even plan your visit by using the Whiskey Trail guide, which will tell you how long it’ll take to go from one destination to another. The weather was not cooperating, so Stephen had to select one distillery to visit, and he chose the “granddaddy” of them all: The Glenlivit, who was the first distillery to be awarded the legal permit to produce whiskey.
The tour used to be free, but as of this year it was 10 pounds per person, and you get 3 samples of their whiskeys. Unfortunately, no photos were allowed during the tour, but here’s a few photos of the grounds.
