Dapper Day 2018 at Disneyland (#DapperDay)

Dapper Day is a celebration of refined style of today and yesterday. The events are held at Disneyland, as well as Disney World, and Disney Paris, and other locations.

What is DAPPER DAY?

The DAPPER DAY organization produces events that let you “step out in style!” We also create lots of fun accessories!

Started in February 2011 by LA designer Justin J., DAPPER DAY® Events celebrates refined style from yesterday and today by organizing elegant outings and social events with distinguished locations including museums, theme parks, and more. Our Spring and Fall DAPPER DAY Expo at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, CA, celebrates stylish living from yesterday and today with bands and dancing, vintage and contemporary clothing and accessories, jewelry, barbers, beauty products, and beyond. DAPPER DAY is also a personal accessories brand which reflects our fun and bright “whimsical-chic” aesthetic. Visit our online shop here.

We are well known for our DAPPER DAY outings to Disney Parks which are currently held twice a year (Spring and Fall) near LA, Orlando, and Paris. Our Disney events usually include a “DAPPER DAY Outing to the Parks,” plus other happenings outside the parks such as our DAPPER DAY Expo (in the Disneyland Hotel Exhibit Hall).  Various additional events, parties, pop-ups, or seminars may be a part of our seasonal Disney outings, and change with each event. The DAPPER DAY organization is not associated with, nor a part of The Walt Disney Company.

Our DAPPER DAY events celebrate the tradition of “stepping out in style” and are meant to showcase you at your best. We do not aim to recreate a specific period. All sophisticated attire is encouraged from vintage-inspired classics to chic, contemporary looks. Active and retired military are encouraged to wear their dress blues or service uniforms if they like.

I have seen photos online, and have always wanted to participate.  This year the event fell on the weekend of November 3 and 4.  We were not able to attend the Sunday, but did dress up on Saturday.  We were told as first timers to take photos throughout the park, and at the Expo.  I’m glad we did, and here’s a medley of photos of our wonderful first experience.  We are looking forward in participating in the Spring.
