After our visit to Buffalo Trace, we made our way to Lawrenceburg to visit Wild Turkey. We did not have a reservation for a tour, but the lobby and bar was open. There’s a mini museum inside the visitors center.

We enjoyed the drink in the patio which overlooks a beautiful view of the countryside.

The bartender said we could keep our Wild Turkey glass. While Stephen went inside to wash it out, he spotted the Master Distiller Jimmy Russell. We chatted with him, and he signed Stephen’s glass.

It’s not one of the biggest distillery, but it’s a nice place to stop, and enjoy the view.
